Autowing

Autowing calculates the aero- and hydrodynamics of various different types of high-speed craft including the following:

  • Wing in Ground Effect Craft  (Ekranoplans)
  • Hydrofoils
  • Planing Hulls
  • Stepped Planing hulls
  • Semi-planing vessels
  • Hydrofoil-Assisted Catamarans

A brief description of Autowing's current features as well as successful applications can be found here. Autowing is unique in its capabilities of being able to model the complex aero-hydrodynamics of high speed craft using the method of Discrete Vortices (Vortex Lattice Method).

LEMOS extensions for OpenFOAM 2.2.x

LEMOS-2.2.x

The LEMOS-2.2.x sources can be obtain by git software. From OpenFOAM's ThirdParty installation root directory the repository can be obtained using

 

EITHER:

  • git clone git://github.com/LEMOS-Rostock/LEMOS-2.2.x.git

    Note: the git protocol will not work if your computer is behind a firewall which blocks the relevant TCP port (9418).

OR:

  • git clone https://github.com/LEMOS-Rostock/LEMOS-2.2.x.git

 

The LEMOS-2.2.x extensions provide additional tools and methods for OpenFOAM. An overview about the features can be found here.
